Successful Completion of the Kyoto Spring Program

The “Kyoto Spring” is a program where international students from partner universities undergo clinical clerkship at the affiliated hospital for about a month. This time, the program ran from February 26th to March 22nd, 2024, with three students from Brown University in the United States and two from the University of Tübingen in Germany participating. With the cooperation of the members at the affiliated hospitals, the students gained clinical experience in the departments of their choice, learning about the similarities and differences between medical practices in their home countries and Japan. Additionally, they participated in the Annual Research Meeting, which is part of Kyoto University’s unique MD Researcher Training Program. Kyoto University students were very active in interacting with the international students, and apart from the research meetings, they engaged in various group works and leisure activities including sightseeing, fostering deep exchanges and building meaningful partnerships.
