This pilot program is being conducted by the Kyoto University KUSNoKI PROJECT with a budget funded by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare’s “FY2024 Support Project for Medical Professionals of Child-rearing Generation,” to investigate the need for sanitary pad placement in our university.

Medical campus: Medical Plaza (Faculty of Medicine Bldg. I) Women’s restroom
Kyoto Univ. Hospital: North Ward 6th Floor, Integrated Clinical Education Center, Women’s restroom (will start soon)
【Implementation period】
From March 2025 to the end of stock
【Requests for Use】
The sanitary pads provided are available free of charge to anyone. However, to ensure they reach those in need, please take only the number of pads required for emergencies.
We ask for your cooperation in using appropriately so that this initiative can be continued in the future.
After each use of the pads, please take a moment to complete a brief, anonymous survey using the QR code posted at the location.
We would like to understand your needs and use this information in our future efforts.
