The following two licensed day-care centers are closely related to Kyoto University and are operated by the Social Welfare Corporation Kigi Fukushi-Kai.
These two day-care centers originated from a joint workplace day-care center established in a corner of Kyoto University, and many of the parents of the children at these centers are still related to Kyoto University.
Therefore, the Kyoto University Staff Union and the two day-care centers maintain a good relationship, and as a rule, childcare counseling and consultation on admission to day-care centers for union members are held at the staff union office from 12:10 to 12:50 on the second Tuesday of every month.
