The following is an explanation of the KUSNoKI Project’s maternity wear rental service.
About Maternity Wear Rental Service
We offer a maternity wear long-sleeved lab coats, scrubs, and pants rental service for pregnant medical professionals.
If you would like to apply for this service, please use the application form.
※ If you are a nurse working at the Kyoto University Hospital, the Nursing Department will provide you with uniforms, including maternity wear. Please contact there (in Japanese only).
- Up to three upper garments (maternity lab coats and scrubs) and three lower garments can be rented for washing.
- Please note that the contact point for this service differs depending on your affiliation.

Coat Type Maternity White Coat
Developed by the Work-Life Balance Support Office of Shimane University Hospital in collaboration with industry and academia, these are available.
The waist can be adjusted according to changes in abdominal circumference (~90 cm) and can be used from early pregnancy to the last month of pregnancy.
The double tailoring prevents the tummy from bulging out.

Maternity Scrubs
MIZUNO’s dark navy-colored one (product number: MZ-0124) is available.
With a longer length that completely hides both the belly and buttocks, this scrub can be worn from early pregnancy to the last month of pregnancy.
It is designed to be safe and secure so that even if you put PHS, pens, etc. in it, you will not be able to see the chest area.

Maternity Pants
KAZEN’s navy-colored ones (product no. 854-48) are available.
The elastic waistband is adjustable and can be used from early pregnancy to the last month of pregnancy.
The stretch material allows for easy movement and a beautiful silhouette.

- Maternity wear rental is a service provided to members of the Kyoto University “KUSNoKI Circle”
- If you are not a member, we will register you as a member of the “KUSNoKI Circle” at the same time you apply for the rental service.
- Please note that information about events and workshops conducted by the KUSNoKI project will be sent to your e-mail address at the time of registration.
- We look forward to your participation in KUSNoKI Project activities as a “KUSNoKI Circle” member.
