The Kyoto Spring Program is a clinical training program where exchange students from our partner universities undergo clinical clerkships at Kyoto University Hospital for approximately one month. This year, the program was held from February 16 to March 13, 2026, with three students from Brown University (USA) and two students from the University of Tübingen (Germany) participating.
With the generous support of the faculty members at Kyoto University Hospital, the exchange students had the opportunity to engage in clinical training in the departments of their choice, gaining firsthand experience and learning about the similarities and differences between medical practices in Japan and their home countries.
Kyoto University students were also highly proactive in engaging with the exchange students. Beyond academic discussions, they actively participated in various group activities, sightseeing, and other informal interactions, fostering deep friendships and meaningful partnerships.
