It was the first time that Kyoto University Hospital (KUHP) hosted students from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) for a clinical training program. The program ran from June 9th to July 4th, 2025, with three UAB students participating.
Thanks to the generous support of the faculty members at KUHP, students had the chance to participate in clinical training in their chosen departments, gaining firsthand experience and understanding the similarities and differences between medical practices in Japan and the United States.
They actively engaged in various group activities and interacted with Kyoto University students.
