Kyoto University Academic Day is an event designed to be a “dialogue” platform, encouraging everyone to discover the enjoyment and appeal of academic learning. Starting in 2024, Kyoto University’s Research Administration Center (KURA) has taken the lead in creating an environment where academic dialogue transcends barriers within and outside the university.
The Center for Medical Education and Internationalization took this opportunity to present a session titled “The Present and Future of Medical Education.” We emphasized that to advance participatory clinical training, it is essential for medical students not only to prepare thoroughly but also to communicate their roles clearly to healthcare professionals and the general public.
On the day of the event, a diverse audience visited our booth, ranging from young children of around five years old to professors from other universities and faculties, all offering words of encouragement to our medical students. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the event organizers, fellow exhibitors, and visitors for this valuable opportunity. Special thanks also go to the students who presented alongside us.
